Mika Singh urges forgiveness for Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia; says ‘Ban the artiste…’

Bollywood singer Mika Singh didn’t hold back when talking about the India’s Got Talent controversy with Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. In a recent interview, he shared his thoughts on the whole situation, saying he felt they messed up but also emphasized the importance of forgiveness.
Mika said that he has no personal issues with them, and added that Samay is a sweet person and a talented musician. He further praised Ranveer Allahbadia and called him a polite and well-mannered individual. He did say that Ranveer made a mistake by participating in a show that did not align with his usual content. “I have no personal issues with Samay Raina; he is a sweet guy. Many people have told me he is my huge fan and a great musician too. Ranveer’s show is very decent and respectful. Samay’s show has a different audience. If he had not gone there, this issue wouldn’t have happened,” he said.
Later, Mika spoke about the controversy on Samay’s show and said, “More vulgar things have been spoken about on Samay’s show, and if you say cheap things like this in a country like this in a country like India, it will be hurtful”. Mika further said that success comes with responsibility. “Just because Samay has succeeded, a lot of people want to be like him, but that’s wrong. Both Samay and Ranveer are successful, but they should also set the right example”, said Mika.
The singer recalled the time he faced controversy for his songs. “I had received 500 legal notices for some lyrics in the song ‘Ganpat’. Even during ‘Gandi Baat,’ I got almost 1000 legal notices. So what is happening with them is very less. I was scrutinised badly. They said to ban me because I performed in Pakistan”.
Mika concluded the interview by saying that people should forgive both Samay and Ranveer ans also said, “I don’t have anything against them, and their families should not be dragged into this. Ban the artiste for some time. They are kids who became successful, so I urge people to forgive them”.
