Some celebrities have a controversial life. Things just don’t work out for them, no matter how hard they try. One such actress was in the 70s and 80s, who started off quite well. Unfortunately, things got ruined for her, especially with the underworld issues. Whatever movies she did showcased her talent and looked like a rising star.

The actress who went “missing”

This actress made her debut at the age of 13 in a movie called Sarkarri Mehmaan, which was released in 1979. The movie starred Vinod Khanna and was well received. She then acted in the other two movies, out of which one became a big hit. So who exactly are we talking about?

The actress’ name is Jasmin Dhunna. She worked in three movies in her career of 9 years. Her other two movies included Divorce and Veerana. The latter was a big hit and people were looking forward to seeing more of her. However, Jasmine suddenly decided to leave the film industry and stay away. No one knew where she was or what made her quit the industry.

However, several entertainment news reports mentioned back then that after Veerana, Jasmin Dhunna became an overnight star. Her craze was such that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim got obsessed with her. Some reports stated that his men used to stalk Jasmin and would harass her to get romantically involved with him, Dawood.

Further in this entertainment news, has been so many years now since 1988, but no one knows what exactly Jasmin Dunna is doing. She is cited as “missing” actress. However, in 2017, Shyam Ramsay of the Ramsay Brothers said that the actress is in Mumbai and decided to retire from movies after her mother passed away. Some reports also mentioned that she married after Veerana was released and is currently in the US.
