We are talking about South superstar Ajith Kumar. He has worked hard and made a name for himself without having any support. He likes to keep everything private and stays away from the limelight. In this 21st century, mobile phones are a necessity.
Nobody can stay away from mobiles but Ajith Kumar does not use a phone in this era. He is a dropped out of school in 10th grade. One of his family friends who worked with the Enfield company helped Ajith Kumar get a job as an apprentice and Ajith Kumar spent six months training to be a mechanic.
However, he quit his job as his father wanted him to do something different. He then joined the family business and also set up a textiles business. But, this is not what life had planned for him. While he was handling the business, he got many modeling assignments. Everyone believed that he had a face which an actor needs.
In 1990, the actor made his debut by making a one-scene appearance as a schoolchild in En Veedu En Kanavar. It was in 1995 when Ajith Kumar gave his first successful movie Aasai. After this, he climbed the ladder of success. Ajith Kumar is married to his Amarkalam co-star Shalini and they have two children together.
He is a big superstar but still he lives a simple life. His co-star Trisha Krishnan revealed in an interview that Ajith Kumar does not even use mobile phones. Trisha even revealed that if anyone wished to contact him, then they needed to get in touch with his assistant first.
Another surprising thing about the actor is that he gets a new SIM card for every film he works in. He reportedly he keeps changing his contact number for every new film to avoid unnecessary phone calls and text messages from people. He is not on any social media handle as well.
Talking about his net worth, it is around Rs 350 crore and the actor charges Rs 30 to Rs 35 crore for a film. He owns a luxurious house on the East Coast Road in Chennai and is very fond of sports cars and bikes. He reportedly owns Lamborghini, a BMW and a private jet as well.
