Popular Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been known for delivering out-of-the-box movies that do well at the box office. However, in a recent interview, Aamir Khan revealed that due to his emotional immaturity he once made his ex-wife cry.
While shooting a podcast interview with popular YouTuber Raj Shamani, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, famous for his roles like Rancho in 3 Idiots and Mahaveer Phogat in Dangal, revealed that due to his workaholic nature, he made his ex-wife Kiran Rao cry.
The topic came up when the host asked the Taare Zameen Par actor about any red flags he might have when it comes to his relationships, to which Aamir Khan was quick to reply, stating that being a ‘workaholic’ was one of them. During the same conversation, Aamir Khan also revealed how he was totally consumed by work during the early days of his career. Aamir Khan acknowledged that he was emotionally immature, and it would often get the better of him.
Recalling a past incident, Aamir Khan revealed that he would often completely withdraw from those around him and not speak for several days. Aamir Khan recalled one of his arguments with his ex-wife, Kiran Rao, where things escalated for him emotionally, despite them being in the same room. He shared that he would not respond to her and shut down completely even when they were present together. He said that after four days, it got so bad that Kiran started crying. The actor said, “Bilkul response nahin kar raha… itna hard… 4th-day raat ko woh mujhse baat karne ki koshish kar rahi thi aur main bilkul jawab nahin de raha tha to ek point pe woh rone lagi aur unhone kaha mujhe samajh nahin aa raha main kya karun aap to bilkul respond hee nahin kar rahe ho.”
