During the years 1992 to 1997, Khans used to charge approximately Rs 75 lakh per film. But Sridevi’s fee was the Rs 1 crore mark in the 90s until she announced retirement from Bollywood films. On the personal front, Sridevi was married to producer Boney Kapoor. The couple has two daughters: Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. In 2018, the actress passed away in her hotel room in Dubai. Her death is reported to be due to accidental drowning in a bathtub. The actress’s death had shaken the entire film industry. The actress’ last theatrical appearance was in the movie MOM, for which she was posthumously awarded the National Film Award in the Best Actress category.
