Amruta Subhash recalls unfortunate incidents

The actress is Lust Stories 2 star Amruta Subhash. In an interview with Zoom, Amruta Subhash recalled publicly calling out a big producer for touching her inappropriately. The actress did not hold back and rather slammed the producer for his actions.

Amruta Subhash slammed the producer

Amruta Subhash recalled that once she was climbing some stairs and she felt something near her waist. Her top was lifted slightly and she didn’t realise it. She said, ‘I turned around and he was a big producer. I just looked at him and said, ‘What did you just do? What was that?’ And he just brushed it off like, ‘You know, it’s nothing,’ pretending as if nothing had happened. I said, ‘I felt it. What was that?’ Everybody was stunned because he was such a big name.’

Amruta Subhash showed courage

The actress further said that everybody thought that she won’t get roles anymore as she slammed the producer. But she showed courage and told him that it was none of his business and he cannot touch her without her consent.

Amruta Subhash recounts train incident

Amruta Subhash recalled not one but two more incidents when she was touched inappropriately. Once, she was traveling in a train and was touched by a teenage boy. She did not slam him publicly but taught him a lesson.

Amruta Subhash slams a filmmaker

Further, Amruta Subhash spoke about a filmmaker who repeatedly kept calling her to his room over drinks. She then agreed to pay him a visit but only to confront him about the same. The Choked actress said, ‘I went. His room was right there. I banged the door open and entered. I knew people were watching. He was shocked. I looked into his eyes and said, ‘Sir, you are my father’s age. Why are you talking to me like this? What is your problem?’ I said it calmly but directly. And in his eyes, I saw the awkwardness.’

Amruta Subhash’ advice for women

She also gave an advice to all the women who face such incidents. She shared that women should look straight into men’s eyes while confronting as such men are scared of eye contact.
