He received critical acclaim but the film did not mint money. His latest outing Ruslaan too was a box office failure. In one of the interviews, Aayush Sharma had spoken about the pressure and trolling he faced after his films failed. He shared that he apologised to Salman Khan. “The narrative was created that I am blowing up my brother-in-law’s money. Should I share my income tax details? When Salman called me during Loveyatri, I had tears in my eyes. I said ‘Sorry, I blew up your money.’ When Antim’s digital rights were sold to satellite and OTT platforms, I was relieved,” he said.

Despite failures, his determination remains intact. Aayush Sharma’s next is Kwatha. He will reportedly be sharing the screen space with Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle in this one.
