Monalisa, the viral girl of the Maha Kumbh Mela, has taken the internet by storm. From being an ordinary girl, Monalisa has now transformed into a social media influencer and emerged as a popular personality. Her rise to fame has left many surprised and inspired. It was Monalisa’s unexpected and sudden rise that also helped her bag a movie offer. In addition to making news for her movie, Monalisa also made heads turn when she was invited to an event in Kerala earlier this month. Now, she is back in news for making yet another public appearance.
Today, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, Monalisa Bhosle was invited as a guest for an event held in Nepal. At the event, Monalisa spoke to the people who had gathered in huge numbers. She also flaunted her dance moves for the live audience there. She shared the video on her Instagram handle with the caption that read, “मेरी मौलापुर नेपाल महाशिवरात्रि महोत्सव लाइव स्टेज प्रोग्राम 2025 | Monalisa bhosle 08.”
In the comments, people were quick to share their reactions to the video. Meanwhile, she is accompanied by director Sanoj Mishra. Sanoj – who has signed a movie with Monalisa – had spoken at length about her role. “Monalisa belongs to a lower middle class family. She is a nomad and her family roams around selling garlands to fulfill their daily needs. Her role is of the daughter of a retired army soldier from Manipur who too wants to join the army. This is her dream. What kind of problems she has to go through to fulfill her dream, what struggles she has to face and how she is able to fulfill her dream, is what the film is all about,” he told ETV Bharat.
