In a recent interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan reflected on her character Geet from Jab We Met and even heaped praises on Shahid Kapoor. Kareena and Shahid do share a past and they have never done a film together after Jab We Met. Though they were a part of Udta Punjab, they did not share the screen space in the movie. In an interview with Brut India. Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked what she liked the most about her character Geet in Jab We Met. To this, the actress immediately answered “Everything.” She went on to add that Geet is the quintessential Indian film actress. She is aspirational and everyone wanted to be like Geet, she quoted. She also spoke about Shahid Kapoor’s character Aditya in the movie. Kareena said,”Geet also bounced off Aditya’s character. I would definitely like to thank the fact that Shahid did such a fabulous job. We bounced off each other’s energy. The film would not be complete without him for sure.” Geet and Aditya truly managed to captivate audiences attention and leave a last impact that is still felt. The box office created waves in entertainment news.

Jab We Met was directed by Imtiaz Ali and it is one of the most favourite Bollywood films of many. Kareena and Shahid shared a crackling chemistry even though the reports suggested that it was during the shooting of this film that they parted ways.
