A similar thing has happened with a popular South actress. She has been one of the most loved stars and her acting skills have always impressed the audience. Not just an amazing actor, she is a brilliant dancer as well.

She has been a part of movies like films like Swarnakamalam, Rishyasringan, Sitaara and Chatrapathi. She has been a part of the entertainment industry for decades and has a huge fan following. We are talking about South actress Bhanupriya. She is a trained Kuchipudi dancer and is very passionate about dancing. Dance is like oxygen for her and she has always opened up about her love for the craft.
She had once said in an interview that she started learning dance since her childhood. She used to prioritise dancing over her school homework. She used to choreograph the songs she heard on radio and that’s when her family enrolled me in formal training.
This skill became her greatest asset in cinema. She made everyone fall in love with her acting and dancing. It was always a treat to watch her on-screens. However, she went through a tough phase that made her step away from the world of entertainment.
Bhanupriya’s tough life
She spoke in an interview with journalist Yagna Murthy Buddhi about her health. She revealed that she has been struggling with memory loss since the passing of her husband. She was not able to work well due to memory loss and hence had to leave acting. She said, “I am unable to memorise things that I should be doing; and after the shoot began, I forgot my lines during one instance. This has been happening for about two years.”
She was married to Adarsh Kaushal in 1998 and has been staying away from him since 2005. However, after his death in 2018, she found it difficult to remember things. She has now said that she enjoys being away from the limelight and is staying at home, reading books and taking care of her daily chores. She now stays with her mother, daughter and brother.
