Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are on their toes currently as they are promoting their upcoming film Loveyapa. The movie marks their theatrical debut. Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan marked his acting debut with the film Maharaj that released on Netflix. Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor was seen in The Archies that also had a OTT release. Loveyapa directed by Advait Chandan marks their first theatrical venture. As the film’s release date is approaching, Karan Johar took to social media to give a big shoutout to the stars.
Karan Johar took to Instagram to share the poster of Loveyapa which he attached with a length note. He started off by calling for drum rolls for 2025’s first love story. He then stated that the movie is all about tech and app obsessed Gen Z. He shared his review of the film and called it ‘hugely entertaining’. A part of his note read, “You will fall in love with all the characters ( terrific ensemble ) and root for the magical and endearing leads Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. I can happily watch the film again and top credit to director Advait Chandan for bringing pace, relentless energy, humour, emotion and solid story telling to the fore!!!”

It is the first celeb review of Loveyapa to be out. A special screening of the film was recently organised by the makers. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt attended the screening and even posed for the paps along with Aamir Khan. Kajol, Karan Johar, Jibraan Khan and many others also attended the screening.
Loveyapa is set to release on February 7. The trailer and songs have already drawn attention. But it remains to be seen if Junaid and Khushi’s pairing is able to draw audiences to the theatres or not!
