Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko and his family met with an accident recently. They were all travelling together when this unfortunate incident happened.
Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has been a part of many amazing movies in the South. He has played supporting roles in films like Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Chapters, Annayum Rasoolum, Masala Republic. In 2014, he played his first lead role in Binu S Kalady’s fantasy-comedy film Ithihasa. Post that he has done many hit movies that won hearts. He is quite popular but today’s news left everyone shocked. The actor and his family were travelling somewhere when they met with an accident. He was reportedly with his parents and his brother.
They met with an accident near Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu on Thursday morning. The accident happened around 7 AM near the Palkot area. As per report by Manorama Online, the actor’s car collided with a lorry in front of them. A Malayali traveller named Binoy was a a witness to this accident. He was on the same route from Kochi to Bengaluru and he spoke to the portal about the same.
He revealed that Shine Tom Chacko’s arms appeared to be fractured. Everyone who was in the car was taken to the hospital immediately. Despite quick treatments, Shine Tom Chacko’s father C.P Chacko passed away. However, the others including Shine Tom Chacko and his mother are injured. Their treatment is going on in a government hospital.
Dharmapuri Superintendent of Police SS Maheswaran spoke to NDTV and confirmed the news of C.P Chacko’s death. He also confirmed that Shine Tom Chacko is injured and is being treated. The police said, “Preliminary inquiries suggest the crash was the result of a collision between the family’s car and a truck.” However, the authorities are still investigating and are yet to confirm the sequence of events.
Local police have registered a case and one of the officers said, “We would expedite the post mortem procedure and help the family.”
