Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah movie picks up pace on first Saturday

Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah’s spy thriller Ulajh made it to the theatres on August 2. The film directed by Sudhanshu Saria opened to mixed reviews. Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah’s performances in the film have received a thumbs up for the viewers. On Friday, the movie started on a slow note at the box office. However, the day 2, i.e., first Saturday is out now and much to the delight of the makers, Ulajh has picked up pace at the box office. On Saturday, Ulajh starring Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah witnessed a growth of over 60 percent. As per the official numbers coming in the flm made around Rs 2.2 crore at the box office on day 2. On its first day, the movie made around Rs 1.37 crore. The total collection of the movie now stands at Rs 3.57 crore. All eyes are now on first Sunday collection. The story of Ulajh revolves around Suhana Bhatia – an IFS officer. She gets posted in the UK as Deputy High Commissioner. But it is all a part of a conspiracy that hangs on strained diplomatic relationship between India and Pakistan. She has to chose between her career, legacy, and country. Ulajh clashed with Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s romantic drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film took a slow start despite the major star power. As per the reports, the movie made around Rs 2.15 crore at the box office on first Saturday. On Friday, it had made around Rs 1.85 crore. Thus, the total collection of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stands at Rs 4 crore.
