American actor Brad Pitt is making headlines with his years-long divorce war with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Now, the actor has finally spoken out about his marriage. While talking with GQ, Brad Pitt mentioned his divorce and how it has affected his personal life.

In a recent interview with GQ, the actor admitted that his final divorce in 2024 has brought him relief and said, “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally. It’s been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let’s put it that way.”

He further said, “It’s been an annoyance I’ve had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do. So, it’s always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that… My life is fairly contained. It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, it’s like this fly buzzing around a little bit.”

A close source told Daily Mail, “Brad’s had his fair share of meltdowns over the years as their feuding got more and more intense. It affected him emotionally on many levels, but admitting that publicly for Angie to hear, he knows would give her great pleasure. He’s aware she’s struggled a lot, so he’s decided to take the high road.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met in 2025 while shooting the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The two tied the knot in 2014 at Château Miraval in France, but their relationship ended after two years. The couple share six kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.

In 2019, Bratt and Angelina were legally declared single by a judge. According to People, Brad Pitt moved on and is now dating businesswoman Ines de Ramon since 2022.
