Celebrity MasterChef has been in the news for contestants’ fights. Dipika Kakar Ibrahim who made her television comeback after four years with Celebrity MasterChef has left the show midway due to her serious injury. Dipika’s fans are quite disappointed with the news and want the actress to come back and win the show. Neither Dipika nor the channel has confirmed the news of her exit as of now.
Celebrity MasterChef contestant Usha Nadkarni confirmed the news in an interview and revealed that Dipika had been struggling with an arm injury. Usha Nadkarni said that Dipika visited the doctor and returned to the show, but was not able to continue due to her pain.
As per IndiaForums report, the makers of Celebrity MasterChef have roped in Shiv Thakare to join the show as a wildcard entry. A source from the set shared that Shiv will replace Dipika in the competition. But, there is no official confirmation from the makers or Shiv himself.
Shiv grabbed attention when he participated in Roadies Rising and made it to the semifinals. He later won Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 and ruled hearts with his genuine personality. He became a finalist on Bigg Boss 16 and his friendship with Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sajid Khan, and Sumbul Touqeer was quite appreciated by many.
Shiv has also been part of reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and more. The current season of Celebrity MasterChef includes Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), and Ayesha Jhulka. Chandan Prabhakar and Abhijeet Sawant were eliminated from the show. Farah Khan, Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna are the judges of the show.
It will be interesting to see how Shiv adapts to the Celebrity MasterChef kitchen and whether will he be able to give tough competition to others.
