How Dilip Joshi got the important role of Jethalal in TMKOC?

However, the love for Jethalal does not end. Dilip Joshi plays the role and he is loved by everyone. Jethalal is still the most favourite character of the show. We have seen so many new actors entering the show but Dilip Joshi has been with the show since the start.

However, not many know that Dilip Joshi knew producer Asit Kumarr Modi from a long time even before Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah happened. He has been the most disciplined actor on the sets and hence many people feel he is still a part of the show.

But as per reports, Dilip and Asit Kumarr Modi have worked together earlier as well. They were both struggling during the days, and they rose to success together. Earlier, Dilip Joshi spoke about Jethalal and said that Jethalal happened because of Taarak Mehta’s Duniya Ne Undha Chashma stories in Chitralekha. He shared that he misses Taarak Mehta.

He further thanked Asit Kumarr Modi for giving him the character.
