TV actress Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. In a latest vlog, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim spoke about her health and shared the latest update.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are among the most prominent couples of TV industry. Recently, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a shocking news with fans. In the latest Vlog, the couple revealed that Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. First Dipika Kakar made a post on social media revealing that the tennis ball sized tumour has turned out to be malignant. She asked everyone to keep her in prayers. Later, through Vlog, Shoaib and Dipika spoke at length about this difficult phase of their lives. Shoaib also revealed about Dipika Kakar’s surgery.
In the Vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika Kakar‘s surgery has been postponed again. The surgery was supposed to take place this week, however, doctors adviced against it as she is still suffering from cold and cough. Earlier, the surgery got postponed as Dipika Kakar was down with flu. Due to her health, the surgery had to be pushed. However, she is still to recover from cough and cold, thus, doctors have asked them to wait for more 4 to 5 days for the congestion and cold to reduce. He said, “The surgery that was scheduled for this week has not happened, because on Monday, her doctor said Dipika has too much chest congestion still. Due to her cold, the surgery has been pushed to next week. Since it is risky now, the medication has also been changed.”
Further, in the video, Dipika Kakar also spoke about surgery and her visit to ENT specialist. She said that the doctor stated that she isn’t fit for surgery as yet because of her cold. Now, the surgery is scheduled to take place next week.
Further in the video, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that they are being positive as the virus has not spread anywhere else in the body. Doctors have also ensured the couple and are confident that they will be able to cure Dipika. The actress shared that the word ‘cancer’ is scary for anyone but they are being strong. They said this too shall pass. We wish actress a speedy recovery.
