Heeramandi star Sharmin Segal speaks about being dissatisfied with her appearance sometimes; ‘Coming to terms…’

Sharmin Segal became a hot topic of discussion post the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The series released on Netflix. Sharmin Segal became the target of trolls as many commented on her acting skills. She kept mum for a long time. However, in her latest interview, she did open up about a lot of things including her bond with co-stars and more. In a recent interview, she opened up about how she isn’t satisfied with her appearance sometimes. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Sharmin Segal who played the role of Almazeb in Heeramandi mentioned that there are days when she loves her body and then there are days when she is not happy with the way she looks. She mentioned that she feels bloated if she eats french fries for dinner. But she added that coming to terms with how one looks is a slow process as the body keeps changing. She added, “Your mind-set has to keep evolving along with it. Today, I’m a lot more comfortable within that change in my mind-set. I know that my body will keep changing. At the end of the day, we’re all women. We go through periods and pregnancy and those things have a physical impact on our bodies.” She also mentioned that when audience judges someone on how one looks, it has an impact on work.
