Gurucharan Singh reveals if he had suicidal thoughts when he disappeared; says ‘Mere zehen mein ye pakka…’

However, the show has been in the news for all wrong reasons. Many fans have been complaining that the comedy element is missing now. A lot of memes have been made on the show. We also saw so many controversies happening with many things said about the producer of the show. Recently, we also saw that Gurucharan Singh who played Sodhi in the show went missing all of a sudden. People were worried that he might have committed suicide and his family was also worried.

Gurucharan Singh reveals if he thought of suicide
However, he returned back after 25 days and said that he was on a spiritual journey. Now, he spoke to Pinkvilla and was asked if he ever thought of committing suicide while he disappeared. He said that he always thought that no matter what happens, suicide is never an option. He further shared that sometimes when one is angry, they say anything but the thought of suicide never crossed his mind.
Earlier, when Gurucharan Singh went missing, his father, Hargit Singh, registered a police complaint. This lead to the registration of an FIR under section 365 of the Indian Penal Code. The reports of him facing financial issues surfaced and hence, the police questioned the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah team.
Recently, after returning, Gurucharan met the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumarr Modi. They had a good chat and Gurucharan got all his dues. Gurucharan had shared that they spoke a lot and recalled past memories. Post that many fans thought that he is returning to TMKOC.

Balwinder Singh Suri has replaced Gurucharan Singh in the show as Sodhi. The popular comedy show also stars Dilip Joshi, Palak Sindhwani, Monaz Mevawalla, Mandar Chandwadkar, Amit Bhatt and others.
