Bollywood actor and former Member of Parliament Govinda suffered an accidental shooting at his Juhu residence early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred while he was preparing to leave for Kolkata on a 6 am flight from Mumbai. Reportedly, his licensed revolver slipped from his hands and discharged, grazing his leg below the knee . Govinda was rushed to Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai, where the bullet was successfully removed, and he’s currently recovering. His manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed that his condition is stable and he’s receiving necessary medical attention
The actor’s family, including his daughter Tina Ahuja, is by his side at the hospital. Govinda has also released an audio clip from the hospital, thanking his fans, family, doctors, and God for their support.
