Actor Gaurav Khanna who essayed the character of Anuj Kapadia in Rajan Shahi’s show bid adieu after the last generation leap. Anuj and Anupamaa’s on-screen chemistry was appreciated by their fans. In the latest episode of Anupamaa, Anu (Rupali Ganguly) is seen remembering Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna) on the occasion of Valentine’s day. She is seen holding a picture of him in her hand and gets teary-eyed as she talks to the picture. The scene was a treat for all MaAn fans who miss Anupamaa and Anuj. But, netizens have slammed the makers of the show for using Anuj Kapadia despite stating that they do not see him in the story anymore.

For the uninformed, Anupamaa makers showed a generation leap a few months ago. Gaurav, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and others called it quits. While Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen were introduced as the new leads. Later, Alisha was replaced overnight by Adrija Roy who plays the role of Rahi.
