Garvita Sadhwani reacts to winning Best Supporting actress at International Iconic Awards 2024
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest running TV show. The show has been loved by the audience and it is amongst the top five TV shows on the TRP charts. Rajan Shahi has made everyone fall in love with this show and its characters. Currently, the fourth generation story of the show is happening and fans have showered love on Abhira and Armaan. The TV serial has been getting many awards and appreciation from the audience. Every year, the show bags at least one big award. The International Iconic Awards 2024 happened on May 28 in Mumbai. The serial bagged the Best Iconic Parivar title at the International Iconic Awards 2024.

Rajan Shahi and the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was there to receive the award. They posted many pictures on social media as well. However, Garvita Sadhwani aka Ruhi also bagged the Best Supporting Actress award for the show. Garvita entered the show recently as Ruhi. She replaced actress Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were removed from the show for their unprofessional behaviou.

Garvita and Rohit Purohit replaced them. Garvita was super happy while receiving the award and the best part was that she got it from producer Rajan Shahi himself. She said that she is happy she got the award from Rajan Shahi himself and hence it is more special for her.
The award become more special as it is her first award and she thanked Rajan Shahi for giving her opportunity and believing in her. She further said, “When I gave my audition for baatein kuch ankahee si, I was really new to the industry, hardly 8 months old. And unhone mujhpar believe kiya and that really motivated me. So I can’t thank you enough sir.”

Garvita also thanked the YRKKH directors and actors. She also thanked her costars Samridhii Shukla, Rohit Purohit, Shruti Panwar, Anita Raj and others for always motivating her. She also thanked her mother, father, sister and her brother-in-law for their support.
