Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Samridhii Shukla starrer television show went through a major transformation when Rajan Shahi replaced Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe as Armaan and Ruhi. In the official statement issued by DKP, the production house stated that while Shehzada was removed for her unprofessional behaviour, Pratiksha wasn’t able to act as per the character requirement. Ironically, when Garvita replaced Pratiksha, a section of fans thought that both the actresses resembled each other a lot. Garvita Sadhwani reacts to having a striking resemblance with Pratiksha Honmukhe

Garvita Sadhwani currently essays the role of Ruhi Poddar in the Rajan Shahi show. She has been hailed for her performance, and the majority of fans also think that she is performing better than Pratiksha Honmukhe. However, when she first started playing Ruhi, fans couldn’t help but think about the striking resemblance between her and Pratiksha. Reacting to the same, Garvita Sadhwani said, ”Yes, I saw those comments. There were some fans who thought me and Pratiksha look a bit similar. I think it’s because we both are very petite. Mine and Pratiksha’s height is also somewhat similar. And due to our facial structure, maybe the fans have thought we have a striking resemblance. The actress further added, ”What I really believe is looks don’t matter. What matters is performance. Whether there is a striking similarity or not, as long as the performance is appealing, everyone is happy, including the crew, fans, and the actor herself.”
