Faisal Shaikh defeats Gaurav Khanna in the most challenging task, here’s what went wrong

It’s the finale week of Celebrity MasterChef and the latest episode was quite challenging. The show is judged by Farah Khan, Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna. The contestants who have made it to the finale week are Gaurav Khanna, Faisal Shaikh, Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli and Rajiv Adatia. In the latest episode, Chef Rahul Rana gave a tough challenge to everyone. His pressure test included 6 dishes that had 150 elements overall. The dishes were sweet, salty, bitter, astringent, sour and pungent. With 22 elements, the dishes had 150 pressure points and they had 150 minutes to finish the same. As Gaurav won a special advantage in the previous episode, he was allowed to take Chef Rahul Rana’s help with the most difficult part during the cook. As the Celebrity MasterChef fans know, the Anupamaa actor has colour blindness, and the dish had a lot of colours in it. Gaurav Khanna struggled to get the colours right; however, he made sure to complete the dishes with Chef Ranveer Brar’s help. Gaurav Khanna took Chef Rahul Rana’s help to make his sweet potato element as he struggled with it. Despite the help, he was left behind by Faisal Shaikh. Vikas Khanna informed that both their dishes were quite good. However, Faisal managed to cook better than Gaurav in the latest episode and got 16 elements right out of the 22. Thus, Faisu now won an advantage for the next episode. This also means that Gaurav lost his chance to score a hat trick of advantages.
