Director Nag Ashwin strongly reacts to Arshad Warsi’s ‘joker’ comment on Prabhas; ‘He should have chosen his words better’
Kalki 2898 AD is a big hit. The movie was the most awaited one and when it arrived fans were all praise for it. The movie has been in the news since a long time. The film was praised by many and people also showered love on the performances by the actors. The film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and others. The film recently released on OTT platform, Prime Video. It has been trending on social media since then. Many those who could not watch it in the theatres, enjoyed the film at home on OTT. There are people who watched the movie again and could not stop praising it again on social media. The film has also been in the news for wrong reasons.
We recently saw Arshad Warsi’s negative comments on the film and Prabhas. In a recent podcast called Unfiltered by Samdish, Arshad Warsi said that he did not like Kalki 2898 AD. He also said that Prabhas looked like a joker in the movie. However, he showered praises on Amitabh Bachchan for his performance as Ashwatthama. His comments are creating waves in entertainment news.

But his comments on the film and Prabhas were not liked by fans. They started trolling him on social media and many actors like Nani, Sudheer Babu criticised him for his comments on Prabhas. Now, the director of Kalki 2898 AD, Nag Ashwin has reacted to Arshad’s comments.
He took to X and said that Arshad should have used his words in a better way. He wrote, “Let’s not go backwards..no more north-south or bolly vs tolly..eyes on the bigger picture.. United Indian Film Industry..Arshad saab should have chosen his words better..but it’s ok..sending buji toys 4 his kids..il work hard so tweets fdfs that prabhas was the best ever in k2.”
He added, “Too much hate in the world already bro…we can try not to add to it..I know prabhas garu will also feel the same…”
