Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are now officially husband and wife. The pre-wedding festivities that started in March this year, finally reached the last leg with the Lagna Vidhi on July 12, attended by the most famous celebs from India and abroad. This will be followed by Shubh Ashirwad on Saturday and a grand reception on Sunday. But if you think that soon after this the newlyweds Anant and Radhika will head for a honeymoon to an exciting location, well you may be wrong.

So BollywoodLife has exclusively learnt from an insider that the childhood sweethearts turned soulmates will do go on a honeymoon but not immediately after the wedding festivities are done with. “They both come from traditional gujarati families that are strongly connected to their roots. There will be post wedding rituals in both the bride’s and the groom’s homes which will be attended by both the families,” revealed the source.
We further learnt that there are also some causes that both the youngsters support and few that their families do as well and therefore some days after the wedding will be spent on indulging in giving back to the society through these causes. “There are various ‘sewas’ and ‘daans’ and some special puja vidhis that have been planned post the wedding where Anant and Radhika will be busy. Only after completing all these will they head for their honeymoon”, said the source. When asked about the destination, the source said that there is no discussion around that as yet.
Well, ahead of the wedding, Anant Ambani had held a 40 day Bhandara outside their Mumbai home, Antilia. The open for all kitchen aimed at feeding over 9000 people every day. The videos of people enjoying a scrumptious Indian meal here had been going viral on the internet and winning hearts.
