Chris Martin arrives in Mumbai with partner Dakota Johnson ahead of tour

Coldplay has finally landed in India and lead singer Chris Martin, who is part of a popular UK band was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport with partner Dakota Johnson. Chris was spotted at the airport and he greeted paps with a polite namaste. Coldplay’s most awaited concerts in India is the biggest draw of 2025. Music of the Spheres World Tour, the British band has three shows at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21. The band had earlier performed in India in 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai. The District Child Protection Unit in Ahmedabad has issued a notice to singer Chris, organizers of the Coldplay concert and has instructed them to not use children in any form on stage during the concert which will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26, 2025. Additionally, the unit has also highlighted that sound levels exceeding 120 decibels during the concert could pose to risks to children’s health. If the band fails to comply with these directives, strict action by the District Child Protection Unit in Ahmedabad.

The notice follows a complaint filed by Pandit Rao Dharnevar, an Assistant Professor of Sociology from Chandigarh. Dharnevar told ANI,’ I am committed to ensuring that children’s rights and health are protected. Such steps will continue to safeguard them from harmful exposure’.
