Celebrity MasterChef star Dipika Kakar reacts to claims suggesting she abandoned daughter from first marriage; ‘Main ek maa pe…’
Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar is currently a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef. The actress is impressing the judges and masses with her cooking skills. However, as per reports, the actress is going to take a voluntary exit from the show due to health issues. Amid this, a statement of Dipika Kakar about her abandoning daughter from first marriage has hit headlines. In a latest interview, Dipika Kakar has slammed the trolls for making such false claims.
In an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, Dipika Kakar touched upon the topic and shared that the rumours affected her mental health. In the video, Dipika Kakar said, “Main ek maa pe bhi itna bada allegation lagane ka sochungi bhi nahi, ki usne apni beti ko abandon kar diya (I would never even think of making such a serious allegation against a mother—that she abandoned her daughter).”
She further described that when the rumours spread like wildfire she was expecting her son Ruhan. It deeply affected her and she questioned her husband as to why would people say such things. “I was deeply affected because that was the phase when I was expecting Ruhan. And for me, my only worry and my only question to Shoaib was, ‘’Yeh jab aayega toh log yeh bol ke kyo bolege’ kyunki in baato mein koi sachai hi nahi hai’ (Why would people say such things when there’s no truth in them at all?) Ruhan was a premature baby, and we had a difficult time in the hospital,” she said.
In the past, it was her husband Shaoib Ibrahim who addressed the rumours. In a Vlog, he clarified that al these rumours are false. He shared that it was bad and wrong to make such strong accusations against a woman who has gone through miscarriage, is now celebrating her first child and is leading a happy life.
