Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Mumbai residence by a man who had entered their house in the wee hours on January 16. The accused had entered Jeh’s room and in an attempt to save his family, Saif intervened and was stabbed six times with a knife. Saif to lose Pataudi Palace?

Bhopal’s Ahmedabad Palace, Staff House and thousands of acres of land and buildings around it have become the talk of the town. The government has declared these properties as enemy property. Abida Sultan, the elder daughter of the then Nawab of Bhopal Hamidullah Khan shifted to Pakistan after partition. Her property in India was then given to his younger daughter Sajida Sultan. Sajida was also declared the successor. She then married Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and this is how the grand property went to the Pataudis. Hamidullah Khan was the maternal grandfather of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Hence, now, the Pataudi Palace belongs to Saif Ali Khan. But, the property is now under dispute. If it is considered an Enemy property then it will belong to the government.

Saif’s family had filed a petition in the court against the acquisition of this property under enemy property. A stay was imposed, but now the stay has been lifted. This has cleared the way for the government to take the property under them. Due to all this, Saif may lose his property worth crores.
