Anurag Kashyap gets emotional after watching Abhishek Bachchan’s I Want To Talk, showers him with praises
Abhishek Bachchan’s I Want To Talk was released in theatres last week. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the slice-of-life drama talks about life and health issues and mainly focuses on the father-daughter relationship. Anurag Kashyap saw the movie with his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap. In a long post, the filmmaker praised the movie and also got emotional.

In his post, Anurag Kashyap said Abhishek Bachchan’s I Want To Talk was his last movie date with daughter Aaliyah Kashyap. His daughter is all set to marry in a few days. Kashyap wrote, “My daughter gets married in a couple of weeks and we went on our last movie date together before i give her away to see @shoojitsircar ‘ “I want to Talk”. It was like the deep cleansing of the soul watching this beautiful film with @aaliyahkashyap I laughed and i teared up.”
Further in this entertainment post, the Gangs of Wasseypur director praised Abhishek and called it his career best performance. “Like Arjun Sen we all have our personal marathons and how unintrusively the filmmaker captures it, armed with a career best performance of @bachchan ( he fully has now come into his own) and the two powerhouses Reeya’s @ahillyeah and the little one who i don’t know. Still absorbing it and find it hard to articulate my exact feelings because i can not count the amount of feelings i felt watching this film.”
Anurag requested his followers to watch the movie while it’s still in theatres. He praised the October director and wrote, “It will definitely talk to you in ways you want but didn’t expect . You are special, Shoojit, and you know it.”

Meanwhile, Anurag and Abhishek have worked together in the 2018 movie Manmarziyaan. It also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
