Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa has been reaching new heights and the makers are leaving no stone unturned in adding high voltage drama in their upcoming episodes. The upcoming episodes promise a rollercoaster of emotions and audiences will be shocked to see the ultimate twist that will shake the entire Shah family and Kothari family to its core.

The much-anticipated wedding of Aryan and Mahi will take an unexpected turn when Aryan gets caught with drugs. The makers of Anupamaa shared the latest promo on their social media page, wherein the Shah family eagerly awaits to welcome the newlyweds into their home. Aryan excuses himself and says that he needs to use the washroom. He gets into a room and consumes drugs given to him by his friends.

Meanwhile, Anupamaa goes to find a box of vermilion (sindoor) and enters a room. She sees Aryan in an intoxicated state who is lying on the floor with the packet of drugs in hand and whispering, “Kya kamaal ka maal hai (It’s an amazing drug).”

Anupamaa is devastated to see Aryan. The video has gone viral on the social media and netizens are slamming the upcoming plot on Anupamaa. One user said, ‘Yrkkh story?’, another said, ‘Yee rishta kya kehlata hai or yee same ho rha hai ?’. Third user said, ‘Whi ye rishta ki story repeat krdi, usme shubhm mrra tha drugs se or ilzam naira pe agya tha, yhan ye anupma pe lgga denge ghuma firaake??‍♀️??‍♀️’. ‘Stop copying the story of yrkkh in it…kuch toh naya try kro…bas ek serial ki story dushri serial mein copy krna jaante hein starplus waale???’, said another user.

As per reports, Anupamaa will be blamed by the entire Kothari family after Aryan dies due to an overdose of drugs. Aryan had promised Anupamaa that he would reveal his addiction to the family after his reception.

Meanwhile, the same drug track was shown in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Shubham was shown facing trauma with Suhana’s betrayal and he gets indulged in drug addiction. Shubham takes drugs from a man and gets addicted to them same. Soon, he dies due to an overdose of drugs and the entire family blames Naira aka Shivangi Joshi for the same.
