Anupamaa tops, Celebrity MasterChef fails to show growth; GHKKPM registers lowest numbers ever
The much-anticipated weekly TRP report is here! Every week, the TRP chart brings in the report card of all the top shows. Anupamaa, Udne Ki Aasha, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Jhanak and other shows continue to grab headlines. In recent times, reality TV shows like Celebrity MasterChef and Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment have also drawn attention. So here’s a look at the top five shows on TRP chart in week 5.
Anupamaa
Rupali Ganguly‘s show Anupamaa is back on number one spot. This week, it scored 2.2 million impressions. It looks like the drama around the Kothari family has managed to give the needed boost to the falling TRPs of the show.
Udne Ki Aasha
Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora show enjoyed a few weeks of being at the top of the TRP chart. But now it has slipped down to the second spot. It is slightly behind Anupamaa as it received a rating of 2.1 million impressions.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla’s show is on the third spot this week. It has got a rating of 2.0 on the TRP chart. Currently, the Poddars and Goenkas are busy with Abhir and Charu’s wedding. Armaan and Abhira are busy with the family drama and aren’t able to concentrate on their love life.
Jhanak
Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja’s show Jhanak has shown growth again. It has re-entered the top five TV shows list and taken the fourth spot with 1.9 million impressions.
Mangal Lakshmi
Deepika Singh’s show Mangal Lakshmi has also entered the top five. It got a rating of 1.9 million impressions and is giving tough competition to Jhanak.
Surprisingly or not, shows like Celebrity MasterChef and Laughter Chefs are unable to pick up pace on the TRP chart. Celebrity MasterChef that has top names like Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar and others is still struggling. In week 5, it received only 0.6 million impressions on TRP chart despite ruling TV News. Laughter Chefs – Fun Unlimited registered a rating of 1.6.
This week, the major shocker though is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The show has witnessed the lowest TRP since its launch. It got a rating of 1.5.
