Amitabh Bachchan reveals why wife Jaya Bachchan took break from films
In a video shared by Lehren on YouTube, a journalist inquired whether Jaya stepped back from her popular career to prevent a situation similar to the one showcased in Abhimaan from affecting their home life. Amitabh Bachchan spilled interesting deets about wife Jaya Bachchan‘s break from her successful acting career was her own decision. He said that she chose to step away from films to focus on family and that she felt her presence was more needed at home. Amitabh Bachchan even said that she is to return to acting if she wishes in the future. Amitabh Bachchan revealed that Jaya was a big star when they met and married. He said that he wanted to establish his own career and stand before their wedding. He said that marrying Jaya was the personal goal that motivated him and he believed achieving success would enable him to marry his love.

On the work front, Jaya made her strong comeback in 1998 Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa. She was even seen in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kal Ho Naa Ho. Lastly, she was seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
