Bollywood power couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are currently in news due to the ongoing divorce rumors. Before her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, Aishwarya was in a relationship with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The two fell in love on the sets of the 1999 romantic drama Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and parted ways in 2002. In an interview with Indian Express, the actress had claimed that she was at the receiving end of Salman’s abuse – verbal, physical and emotional, infidelity and indignity.
Back when Aishwarya and Salman Khan were together, the actress appeared on the popular celebrity chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. The host Simi asked the actress to name the Bollywood actor who is ‘the sexiest and most gorgeous man’. Aishwarya said, ‘Someone who is obviously selected in the list of Indian men internationally, recently….Salman’.
