Amid divorce rumours, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja’s cryptic statement ‘Sir Apne…’ goes viral [watch]
In a shocking turn of events, rumours of actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja heading for a divorce have taken over the headlines. According to reports, there is a strong speculation of the couple – who has been married for 37 years – to be parting ways. However, neither Govinda nor Sunita have publicly addressed any of these reports. Amidst the shocking rumours, a video of Sunita Ahuja from the Valentine’s Day celebrations has gone viral. For the unversed, Sunita had posed for paps on Valentine’s Day with son Yashvardhan Ahuja.
Dressed in a red outfit, Sunita greeted paps and engaged in a candid conversation with them. On being asked about Govinda’s absence, Sunita cheekily replied “Sir apne Valentine ke saath hai.” Sunita is known for her sense of humour and witty replies. However, she soon also clarified the remark she made. She said “Aisa waisa kuch mat samajhna. Wo apne kaam se bohot pyaar karte hai na, to kaam unka valentine hai. (Don’t think otherwise. He loves his work a lot and so work is his Valentine.)

Govinda and Sunita’s marriage has seen its fair share of struggles. Both have been pretty open and vocal about it. In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita had made a statement about their relationship that had hit headlines. She said that one should ‘never trust a man’. She revealed that earlier Govinda was very shy, but “now, I don’ know if he has become like that. You never know what people do behind your back. Never trust a man. People change colours like a chameleon. It’s been 37 years since we got married. Where would he go? Earlier he never went anywhere, now I don’t know…’.!
