Allu Arjun starrer races towards Rs 1850 crore worldwide; will it enter Rs 2000 crore club?

On Monday, the makers officially announced that Pushpa 2 had earned Rs 1831 crore gross worldwide. The film has also added around Rs 7 crore to its net collections in India and it is now racing towards Rs 1850-crore mark at the global box office. Reportedly, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule will now be released on January 17 instead of January 11. Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the film took to their social media as they announced the new date of release of the reloaded version which will have an additional 20 minutes. The post read, ‘Due to technical delays in processing the content, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule is delayed. It will now screen in theatres from 17th January and not from 11th January as planned earlier. The extended version will be worth the wait with additional whistleworthy moments. Pushpa 2: The Rule is the direct sequel of Pushpa: The Rise and the film will also be followed by Pushpa 3: The Rampage, which was teased in the second part’s climax. Varun Dhawan’s film Baby John was released on Christmas and it failed at the box office. Made on a budget of Rs 160 crore, this film has collected Rs 39.01 crore. Talking about Pushpa 2, the film is moving towards earning Rs 900 crores in the Hindi version.
