Pushpa 2: The Rule stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in the main roles. The film smashes records at the box office and sets new ones. The pan-India action drama has become the fastest Indian film to gross over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office in six days. Well, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the seventh film to achieve such a big milestone after Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR, KGF Chapter 2, Jawan, Pathaan, and Kalki 2898 AD.
Pushpa 2 achieves another milestone
Pushpa 2 earned Rs 645 crore net in India in six days. On December 11, Allu Arjun starrer added Rs 37 crore more to its collections. As per the box office tracking portal Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 682 crore net in India in its first week and the film is inching toward the Rs 700 crore mark.
Earlier, the film left everyone amazed with its record-breaking opening at the box office on December 5 as it earned Rs 175 crore net in India. The film managed to collect Rs 294 crore at the box office worldwide and broke the record of RRR. The film’s Hindi dubbed version also beat Jawan and the film became the biggest Hindi opener ever.
On Wednesday, Venkatesh praised the film on X as he wrote, ‘A thunderous and unforgettable performance @alluarjun!! Couldn’t take my eyes off you on the screen. Sukumar’s directorial Pushpa 2 has been receiving love from across the globe. The film ended by hinting at the third sequel of the franchise—Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
