Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is a comedy thriller film which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan under the production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer and Johnny Lever in interesting roles. The film has two different versions being screened in theatres and viewers decide which climax they have to watch. As per the ongoing buzz, the film is all set to register the highest-ever day 1 collection at the Indian box office for the franchise.
Over the years, the Housefull franchise is getting bigger and better. The makers have been trying to tickle audiences’ funny bone with their storyline and plot. Housefull franchise is in great demand, and now the recently released film is all set to surpass all previous Housefull films.
As per reports, the advance booking sale was around 2.50 lakh tickets. The day 1 collection might easily come around Rs 24 crore net at the Indian box office. The actual numbers might even go higher, but reportedly 24 crores is guaranteed for Housefull 5.
Housefull 5 is all set to register the biggest opening ever for the Housefull franchise. The franchise’s biggest opening day record belongs to Housefull 4 which was released in 2019. The Housefull 5 will witness a 25.78% or 26% jump.
