Akshay Kumar’s latest release Housefull 5 has managed to perform well at the box office. Over the first weekend, the film managed to cross the mark of Rs 50 crore. The actor is now on cloud nine.
Housefull 5 directed by Tarun Mansukhani released on June 6. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles. Given that it is a part of Housefull franchise, the latest instalment has also served fans with a major laugh riot. Nobody can beat Akshay Kumar when it comes to comedy and once again the actor has proved it right. Housefull 5 is working well at the box office. It registered a good box office run over the first weekend and Akshay Kumar is on cloud nine.
Akshay Kumar took to his social media account to thank his fans for the wonderful response to Housefull 5 over the first weekend. He shared a treat with his fans as she posted a BTS video of him practicing on Dil E Nadaan song. In the caption, he wrote, “Still dancing on cloud nine after the incredible response #Housefull5 received this weekend! Thank you for the love and laughs! Here’s a little behind-the-scenes joy from rehearsals.” Akshay Kumar’s fans are thrilled with his post and are calling him ‘comedy king’. One comment read, “Khiladiyon ka Khiladi.”

Talking about the box office report of Housefull 5, the movie is now quite close to crossing the mark of Rs 100 crore. In three days, the movie made around Rs 87.5 crore at the box office. On the third day, i.e, second Sunday, Housefull 5 made approximately Rs 32.5 crore. On first Sunday, it made Rs 31 crore. The opening day collection was around Rs 24 crore.
Housefull 5 that is produced under Sajid Nadiadwala’s production also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Nana Patekar, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever and many more. The film also has a surprise cameo by Bobby Deol. The makers are hoping that the movie will continue its pace at the box office and turn out to be a profitable venture as it has been made on a massive budget.
