Akshay Kumar and debutant Veer Pahariya team up for ‘India’s first airstrike’, bonus point Sara Ali [WATCH]

Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited movie, Sky Force’s trailer is finally out. It was launched at a grand event in Mumbai on Sunday. The trailer reveals that Sky Force is set against the dramatic and patriotic canvas of the 1965 India-Pakistan Air War. In the film, Akshay Kumar will play the role of Indian Air Force officer and his intense avatar will leave fans mesmerized. Veer Pahariya will make his acting debut in this film and will essay the role of an Indian Air Force officer. In the trailer, Akshay gives a stern warning to Pakistan when he decides to go ahead and launch India’s first air strike. Akshay’s character will be seen managing to teach the neighboring country a lesson for life. While Veer goes missing during the strike and Akshay believes that the former was left in Pakistan during the strike. Akshay’s character promises to bring back Veer who is still alive. The trailer also showcases Sara Ali Khan who will play the role of Veer’s lover in the movie. Apart from Akshay, Veer and Sara, Nirmat Kaur and Sharad Kelkar will essay pivotal roles. Akshay Kumar shared the trailer on his X handle and captioned it as, ‘This Republic Day, witness the untold story of a heroic sacrifice – the tale of India’s first and deadliest airstrike’. Within no time, fans took to the comments section and flooded it with their messages. They expressed excitement for the movie. Netizens praised Akshay’s uniform look, while others appreciated Veer’s performance and his charming looks in the film.

Sky Force is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande. Sky Force will be released in theatres on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend.
