Raid 2 movie starring Ajay Devgn is killing it at the box office. The film directed by Ram Kumar Gupta released on May 1. It is a crime thriller that received positive reviews from the critics. Many were impressed with the storyline and acting chops of the star cast. Apart from Ajay Devgn, Raid 2 also stars Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. At the box office, the movie is performing well. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Ajay Devgn‘s Raid 2 has earned Rs 4.32 crore approximately. These are the early estimates. The movie is holding stable as it hasn’t witnessed a significant dip in collection over the past two days. On day 7, the movie made around Rs 4.75 crore at the box office. It had a good first week as it touched the mark of Rs 90 crore with its India Net Collection. Now, the total collection of the film by the end of day 8 is Rs 94.82 crore. The film is now just a few crores away from crossing the mark of Rs 100 crore.
Raid 2 has already surpassed the numbers of Sunny Deol‘s film Jaat that released on April 10. The action-packed film made around Rs 87.81 crore in 28 days at the box office. Thus, Raid 2 is now among the highest grossing movies of 2025 so far. In just 8 days, it has reached the mark of 90 crores. It is being anticipated that the second weekend of the film will also witness a good collection.
Good News for Raid 2 is that Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s movie Bhool Chuk Maaf is now going to directly release on OTT. The film was earlier supposed to hit the screens on May 9. It could have served as a competition to Raid 2. But now the makers have decided to directly release the film of OTT platform – Amazon Prime Video. It will now release on May 16. Thus, Raid 2 has a clear path at the box office to mint numbers.
