Meet actor Arif Khan who took the path of spirituality and turned Maulana
The actor is Arif Khan. He began his Bollywood journey as a villain. He was seen in Ajay Devgn‘s movie Phool Aur Kaante. He was the villain and played the character of Rocky. While the film made Ajay Devgn an overnight star, his character of Rocky was also much appreciated. Since then, he played antagonist in many films. He was then a part of movies like Mohra, Dilale and others. However, he then took the spiritual path. He became a Maulana and has now undergone dramatic transformation. He is now a Maulana with Tablighi Jamaat.
Did you know that Arif Khan also shared the screen space with Hollywood star. He was a part of Hollywood movie named A Might Heart. It starred Angelina Jolie in the lead. In the film, Arif played the role of Taxi Driver.
Once in an interview with Lehre Retro, Arif Khan revealed why he decided to distance himself from Bollywood. He said that he could not find peace in the fast-paced world of the film industry and wondered why certain big banners did not cast him. He also mentioned about his tryst with substance abuse. But after a few years of being a part of the film industry, he chose to walk the path of spirituality. He is now focusing on religious activities and personal growth. His last Bollywood movie was Ek Hi Manzil.
