Ajay Devgn is the reason why Vijay Raaz got unceremoniously ousted of Son Of Sardaar 2?
Son of Sardaar 2 is one movie that has received a lot of attention recently, despite the fact that filming has only just started. First, Mrunal Thakur replaced Sonkashi Sinha. Later, Sanjay Dutt faced a visa denial to the UK. Yesterday, another update came that actor Vijay Raaz was fired from the romantic action comedy. The shooting is currently going on in London and also stars Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan, Chunkey Pandey, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, etc.
This piece of entertainment news is going to shock everyone! As reported by Pinkvilla, the producers decided to remove Vijay Raaz from Son of Sardaar 2 due to his alleged difficult behaviour. Kumar Mangat Pathak, the movie’s producer (with Ajay Devgn), told the portal that Raaz put forward unreasonable demands. According to Pathak, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor demanded bigger rooms, a special vanity van, and even overcharged for spot boys. According to the report, Vijay’s spotboy fee was Rs. 20,000 per night. The producer stated that the cost is higher than usual and mentioned that the actor wanted to stay in premium suites despite the availability of standard rooms.
Kumar Mangat Pathak further revealed that when they discussed the cost issue with Vijay, he reportedly responded rudely. The producer said Vijay told them they approached him for the job rather than him seeking it. Pathak mentioned that Vijay also asked for two cars for three-person staff, which they think is unreasonable. “When the EP said no, he was rude with the EP (executive producer). After all the discussions, we decided to remove him from the film,” said the director-producer.
On the other hand, Vijay Raaz has a different story to share about what happened on the Son of Sardaar 2 sets. The Pataakha actor stated that he was removed from the film shortly after arriving on set, supposedly because he did not greet Ajay Devgn. Vijay claimed that he was removed 30 minutes after arriving, despite only interacting with a few crew members and not meeting Devgn. He explained that he didn’t speak to Ajay because the Singham star was busy.
When the portal asked Kumar Mangat Pathak about Vijay Raaz’s story, the director-producer stated that the issues with Raaz began even before he arrived on set. Mangat clarified that Ajay Devgn does not expect special treatment or greetings. They decided to remove the Run actor due to his unprofessional behaviour and excessive demands. Furthermore, the SOS 2 producer noted that Devgn has worked with many senior actors without any issues, and asserted that Raaz’s behaviour was problematic from the beginning. In response to Raaz’s claims about room size, Pathak clarified that all actors, including him, received similar accommodations, which were both cost-effective and sufficient.

“He kept demanding a bigger room, despite knowing that the rooms cost a bomb in the UK. He refused to cooperate. The attitude is a problem, and even we didn’t want to associate with a person having such mentality,” said Kumar Mangat Pathak.
