Adnan Khan is one of the most promising actors on television. He is among the few actors known to make his roles iconic through his impeccable acting. When his recent show Pracchand Ashok was launched in February 2024, expectations were quite high that even with this show, the actor would once again win the audience’s hearts. Although Adnan received rave reviews for his character, the show unfortunately failed to win audience hearts and was shut down within two months. In a recent interview, the actor was asked if, after being a part of successful and long-running shows like Katha Ankahee and Ishq Subhan Allah, he felt that saying yes to Ekta Kapoor’s show Pracchand Ashok was a mistake. Adnan Khan REACTS to whether doing Pracchand Ashoka was a mistake

In an interview with Free Press Journal, Adnan Khan stated that doing Pracchand Ashok was one of the most exciting and challenging phases of his life, both mentally and physically. He stated that playing Samrat Ashok was not an easy task, and to understand his mindset, beliefs, where he comes from, and why he thinks in a certain way, the actor had to really dig deep. Adnan stated that he got to shoot in beautiful locations and hailed the production for being a joy to work with. In the same interview, Adnan was asked if he felt that saying yes to the show was a huge mistake since it shut down in 2 months. The actor states that he doesn’t feel so. He states that he has a different philosophy which he lives by. He mentions that he works for himself first. For him, it was important to do a project like Pracchand Ashok. For the audience, it is his next show, but for him, it’s his next journey. Adnan states that the continuity of the show is not in anyone’s hands and what people can do is work hard and put their best foot forward, which he did. He states that he had a wonderful time on the show, an experience which he will never forget.
