Well, the negativity escalated and Sharmin had to disable comments on her social media posts. Her co-stars including Aditi Rao Hydari, and Shruti Sharma among others have supported Sharmin and have stood with her. Recently, Adhyayan expressed empathy towards Sharmin and in an interview with News18, he hinted at his own experiences of facing criticism in the industry. He also showcased the challenges faced by actors, especially star kids. He addressed the personal attacks directed at Sharmin and said that such behavior is unfair and personal attacks affect deeply. The actor said that he does not want to boast about himself, but not everyone who has seen a lull for 13 years in a career spanning 15 years can come fighting out for it. He even said that due to trolling, some people might want to give up and not pursue their careers.
