Actor Sahil Khan arrested in the Mahadev Betting App case; here’s everything you need to know
Actor Sahil Khan who is known for his film ‘Style’ along with Sharman Joshi has been arrested from Chattisgarh today morning. As per the news agency PTI, the special investigation team (SIT) destined the action in connection with the Mahadev betting app case. It is also claimed that the High Court has the after his pre-arrest bail plea as it’s a punishable offence.

It is also claimed that earlier in 2023 Sahil was called for questioning but he didn’t show up and later mentioned that he was just a brand promoter under a contract with M/s. Isports247, promoting the Lion Book brand, refused to have any direct contact with the betting platform.
Why is Sahil Khan arrested?
As per reports in IANS, Sahil who is a fitness expert and YouTuber allegedly used to bring all the celebrity gatherings with the intention of promoting the app and enticing more individuals to use it. The police detained Sahil Khan from Chhattisgarh as he was trying to run away from Mumbai as his pre-arrest bail got rejected.
Earlier actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia have bene summoned by ED in the Mahadev betting case due to their alleged involvement
