Abhishek Bachchan tells Amitabh Bachchan Aaradhya helped him connect with I Want to Talk
Abhishek Bachchan is all set to appear on the big screen this year with the movie I Want to Talk. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the trailer has received a great response from the audience. Recently, to promote the film, Abhishek appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. On the show, the actor got candid about his upcoming movie.

On KBC 16, Abhishek Bachchan appeared with I Want to Talk director Shoojit Sircar and screenwriter Arjun Sen. In the episode, Abhishek revealed how the connection to fatherhood made him interested in the movie’s story. As reported by several entertainment news portals, on Big B’s show, Abhishek said that when Shoojit pitched the movie to him, he only told the actor his character Arjun’s journey. It made a lasting impression on him.
In the movie, Arjun’s character is diagnosed with a life-altering medical diagnosis and he decides to reach out to his estranged daughter. His daughter inspires him to overcome the disease. His daughter in the movie asks him several questions, like ‘What is dying?’ ‘Is he dying?’ and ‘Will he dance at her wedding?’.
On Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Abhishek Bachchan told Amitabh Bachchan and others how he said yes to the movie because of how it shows the father-daughter bond. For Abhishek, it was his bond with Aaradhya that helped him connect with the story and he agreed to do it. The movie is all set to release in theatres on November 22, 2024.
