The actress we are talking about is Fatima Sana Shaikh. In 2016, Fatima worked in Dangal, which stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Sanya Malhotra, and Aparshakti Khurana.
About dealing with casting couch experience while being cast in a South Indian film, the Ludo actress shared an uncomfortable conversation that happened with a casting agent. Fatima shared, “He asked me, ‘You will be ready to do everything, right?’ I told him that I will be working hard and will do what is required for the role, but he kept saying that and I played dumb because I wanted to see how low can he get.”
In the same interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fatima Sana Shaikh opened up on another painful experience in Hyderabad while trying to secure a role in a South Indian movie. “We were in a room, and the producers would talk about it very openly, giving indications that you have to meet people. They wouldn’t say it outright, but it was clear what they meant. However, not everyone is like that.”
