Aamir Khan’s big confession, says Laal Singh Chaddha failed due to THIS reason
Two years have passed since the release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in theatres. The announcement of the movie sparked great excitement among the audience, eager to see the superstar in action. It was a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump, which stars Tom Hanks. Given the global acclaim for the Hollywood film, the audience held high hopes for Aamir to create a film that would profoundly influence them.
Many critics gave Laal Singh Chaddha a positive review upon its release in theatres. However, the audience was not particularly impressed with the film. Some even pointed out how they were not pleased with Aamir Khan’s performance, especially in the first half. Khan has frequently expressed how the movie’s box office failure has severely affected him. The superstar even thought of quitting acting after the movie’s failure. However, in a recent interaction, he revealed the reasons behind the film’s failure.
The entertainment news world will definitely buzz again with discussions on Aamir Khan’s LSC after his latest confession. The Dhoom 3 actor believes that it was his performance that was a big letdown in the movie. Aamir said this on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, Chapter 2. He discussed the failure of Thugs of Hindostan, followed by Laal Singh Chaddha.
However, the Dangal actor has assured that he has learnt from his mistake and will give a better performance in his next movie, titled Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir Khan also stated that Forrest Gump was a big success, despite the fact that the writing structure was not mainstream because of Tom Hanks’ brilliant performance.
Advait Chandan directed the Hindi movie, LSC, for which Atul Kulkarni wrote the screenplay. Along with Aamir, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. Shah Rukh Khan has a special cameo in the movie.

RS Prasanna is directing Sitaare Zameen Par. The film also features Genelia D’Souza in a pivotal role. Earlier, Aamir stated that the movie would be on the same lines as his 2007 movie, Taare Zameen Par. SZP is expected to hit theatres this year in December.
