Housefull 5 is breaking records at the box office. The movie starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, the film has now entered the mighty Rs 100 crore mark.
Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan‘s latest release Housefull 5 is performing extremely well at the box office. The movie released on June 6 and since then it has been minting tremendous money at the box office. It took a good start at the box office with a business of Rs 24 crore. It made massive money over the first weekend, swiftly crossing the mark of Rs 50 crore. Now, in just four days, it has crossed the mark Rs 100 crore.
As reported by Sacnilk.com, Housefull 5 that stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and others in key roles, managed to have a good first Monday at the box office. The early estimates suggest that the movie made around Rs 13.50 crore at the box office on first Monday. The number is definitely huge given that it was a working Monday. It definitely witnessed a drop in numbers from the first Sunday. On day 3, the movie had made around Rs 32.5 crore. On day 2, the movie made around Rs 32 crore. Now, the total collection of the movie stands at Rs 101 crore approximately. The final numbers for first Monday are yet to come in.
Housefull 5 has definitely broken the jinx for Akshay Kumar as it is now on the path of being a hit. The last few films of the actor like Mission Raniganj, Sarfira, Khel Khel Mein, Sky Force and others didn’t perform very well at the box office. Films like Singham Again and Stree 2 in which Akshay Kumar has special appearances were massive hits. His last release before Housefull 5 was Kesari Chapter 2 that performed moderately well at the box office.
Akshay Kumar and all the other stars are on could nine with the overwhelming response to Housefull 5. The actor shared a video on his social media account to thank his fans for ‘incredible’ response to Housefull 5.
